Brief History:
Templar began in the summer of '06 in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Joe Surmacz (guitars, and former Divine Punishment guitarist), and Sam Joyce (drums) got together to work on a tribute album "Echoes from the Past", covers of their favorite thrash, power, and NWOBHM artists. Putting that plan on hold, they started writing some of thier own stuff. Templar's original music is a mix of thrash, power, and good old fashioned heavy metal. Templar is constantly changing their minds, and their recording methods, so there is no "official" demo album, but they have accumulated a decent library of recordings.
